First, for added stability and overall performance, we replaced the aluminum drive wheels with fully balanced cast iron wheels, which are equipped with vulcanized rubber tires. Second, we have added an effective and easy coplanar adjustment that ensures both your wheels are cutting on the same plane, all the time. This spacer/shim adjustment is found on the top drive wheel. This unit features a powerful 2HP fully enclosed motor & a spacious 17 3/4" x 17 3/4" precision ground cast iron table with a 6" steel wing extension to the left of the table.
The table tilts 50 degrees left and 10 degrees right & has a standard t-slot miter gauge. The top & bottom doors are hinged for easy access & the bottom wheel features a heavy bristle brush to eliminate sawdust build up. Large easy-to-use hand wheels provide extra smooth adjustments & the tension adjustment is found at the top of the unit.
